Service 01

Personal Care Assistance

Our caregivers offer patient, dignified support with the personal routines that shape a comfortable day. Assistance is shaped around each client's preferences, pace, and privacy.

What this can look like

  • Standby or hands-on support with bathing and grooming routines
  • Help getting dressed and choosing comfortable clothing
  • Support with oral care and everyday hygiene routines
  • Assistance with toileting and incontinence care

Service 02

Meal Preparation

Familiar food makes a house feel like home. Caregivers help plan and prepare simple meals a client enjoys, and can sit down and share the moment.

What this can look like

  • Preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, or light snacks
  • Following food preferences and dietary guidance provided by the family
  • Grocery lists and shopping assistance
  • Kitchen tidy-up and safe food storage

Service 03

Light Housekeeping

A tidy, uncluttered home is a safer home. We help keep living spaces pleasant without taking away a client's own routines and independence.

What this can look like

  • Dusting, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces
  • Laundry, folding, and changing bed linens
  • Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen orderly
  • Clearing walkways to reduce trip hazards

Service 04

Companionship

Company matters as much as any task on a care plan. Caregivers bring conversation, shared interests, and steady, friendly presence to the day.

What this can look like

  • Conversation, reminiscing, and looking through photos together
  • Cards, puzzles, hobbies, reading aloud, and favorite shows
  • Encouragement to stay connected with family and friends
  • Accompaniment on walks, errands, or community outings

Service 05

Medication Reminders

Caregivers provide friendly reminders so clients can follow the routine their own healthcare providers set. This is a reminder service only — caregivers do not administer, prescribe, adjust, or dispense medication.

What this can look like

  • Verbal reminders at the times the client or family has established
  • Encouragement to keep water and routine supplies nearby
  • Noticing and reporting a missed reminder to the family
  • Reminders about upcoming appointments on the family's calendar

Important: this is a reminder service only. Embracing Arms caregivers do not administer, dispense, adjust, or advise on medication, and do not provide medical treatment or skilled nursing care.

Service 06

Mobility & Daily Living Support

Moving through the day with confidence keeps people at home longer. Caregivers offer steady, respectful support with everyday movement and errands.

What this can look like

  • Standby assistance while walking through the home
  • Support with transfers, repositioning, and getting settled comfortably
  • Encouragement with gentle movement routines a provider has recommended
  • Help organizing the day, mail, calendars, and household routines

Respite for Family Caregivers

Family caregivers need care too. Scheduled respite visits give you room to rest, work a shift, keep your own appointments, or simply take a breath.

What this can look like

  • Scheduled visits so a family caregiver can step away
  • Coverage during work hours, errands, or travel
  • Support during recovery from a family caregiver's own illness
  • A regular weekly break built into the care schedule
